Today, I have been focusing on the character’s moving, landing and skidding animations. I believe I have fixed the landing bug where the character sticks into the ground slightly for one frame, although the possibility that he bobs up occasionally is still in place when particular conditions are met. More testing will be needed to stamp out this bug.
The following video shows what the character’s movement is currently like. It looks good most of the time, but it is still buggy in several places.
Development resumes tomorrow, when I will be working on refining the wall collisions.
